Hi, I’m Thomas.
I work as a Conversion Rate Optimizer in Malmö, Sweden. Improving the user experience as well as Key Performance Indicators of Europe’s leading carpet online shop rugvista.com. I also work as a freelancer.
Before that, I studied E-Commerce and worked in the city of Würzburg, in Germany. In 2015, In the second semester of my studies, I read the book “Don’t Make Me Think”, I was hooked on improving websites for its users. Based on the book’s recommendations, I made adjustments to hundeausweis.de, an online shop for dog accessories, which I started in the middle of 2014.
Throughout 2015 I took university classes on Usability and read books about Conversion Rate Optimization as well as User Centred Design. I applied the learnings creating a Landing Page for an Unbounce Landing Page Contest. I won the Bronze Medal with a landing page portraying a character called “The Conversion Hero”. You can visit the landing page and see the contest results as well as the expert opinions on this work. (FYI: It might say the website is unsafe to visit, unbounce hasn’t implemented SSL for their site unbouncepages…).
(Since then I educate myself about CRO and UX (there’s always something to learn). I value lifelong learning.

The Bachelor Thesis:
In 2019 I wrote my Bachelor Thesis: The thesis discusses market introduction strategies for digital goods, especially before the product launch.

Grin, a publishing house, published the German version as an e-book and in print.
I finished my E-Commerce studies with an 1,0 bachelor thesis (best possible grade in the German education system).
